Taylor Swift is set to appear on the Talks And Reunions lineup at this year’s 2022 Tribeca Festival in New York City, where she will discuss her approach to directing – following a screening of her short film, All Too Well. Released last fall as an accompanying visual to her re-recorded song, “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” the dramatic short stars Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) and Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf) as a couple experiencing a tense breakup.

The annual New York film festival will run from June 8-19, with Swift’s discussion taking place on June 11 at the Beacon Theatre. This year, there are also a number of other musicians crossing over into the multimedia festival’s Talks And Reunions category. Among them is the 13-time Grammy Award-winning producer, recording artist, philanthropist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams, who will discuss the various aspects of his multifaceted career. Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy-winning rapper and actor, Common, will not only be speaking at the event, but will also be presented with the second annual Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award.

“We are excited to present a compelling slate of Talks, Reunions, and Master Classes from leading storytellers across film, television, music, art, and comedy,” said Paula Weinstein, Tribeca’s Chief Content Officer. “Audiences will have the opportunity to hear from a diverse and captivating lineup of award-winning entertainers at the forefront of cultural leadership.”

In addition, there will be a number of music-focused films screening at the festival, including documentaries Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song; Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby; and Menudo: Forever Young.

Swift, meanwhile, will continue to cross further into the film sphere this year with a role in David O. Russell’s forthcoming feature, Amsterdam. Described as a 1930s crime epic, the film hits theaters on November 4. The singer-songwriter also contributed an original track, “Carolina,” for the soundtrack to the upcoming adaptation of Where The Crawdads Sing.
