SEVENTEEN Announces 2025 Tour NEW_
The K-pop superstars will tour U.S. venues this fall in support of their hit album ;HAPPY BURSTDAY.’
NEW_ is coming to a venue near you. SEVENTEEN will launch the U.S. leg of their NEW_ tour in October, playing nine shows across five markets.
The tour will bring the K-pop superstars to two stadiums, the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, as well as three arenas: the Moody Center in Austin; Amerant Bank Arena in Miami-area Sunrise, FL; and Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
The shows go on sale to members of SEVENTEEN’s Carat fan club Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 3 p.m. to 9:59 p.m. local time. Carat members can register for the presale on Weverse up through Sunday, Aug. 3 at 10 p.m. ET. General onsale follows on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 3 p.m. local time. SEVENTEEN is a 13-member ensemble (S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON and DINO) combining three units: hip-hop, vocal, and performance. Per Billboard’s midyear boxscore, they’re the third biggest touring act in the world.
In 2024, they continued their rise to global dominance, becoming the first K-pop group to perform at Glastonbury and headline Lollapalooza Berlin. SEVENTEEN cleaned up at American awards shows including MTV’s VMAs, where they took home Best Group, and the Billboard Music Awards, where they were named Top K-Pop Touring Artist. They also became UNESCO’s first-ever Goodwill Ambassador for Youth.
NEW_ (the underscore symbolizes limitless potential) follows HAPPY BURSTDAY, SEVENTEEN’s latest hit album, which tied the group’s best U.S. chart position with a No. 2 debut and boasted the year’s best first-week sales for a K-pop release at 2.52 million worldwide. The album features production by American legends Pharrell Williams and Timbaland. The NEW_ tour kicks off with a pair of shows at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in Korea on September 13 and 14, with more cities to be announced.
