Alice Cooper and Peter Frampton are among the stars confirmed to perform for benefit show Rock For Relief, which takes place on Friday night, July 3, to help raise awareness and money for the Feeding America charity.

The entertainment will be broadcast from 8pm ET on Storic Media’s YouTube channel, with fans encouraged to donate to the charity throughout the evening. Visit the official Rock For Relief website for further information about the event.

Artists also set to appear for Rock For Relief include Slipknot and Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor, Myles Kennedy, ex-Eagle Don Felder, Bush’s Gavin Rossdale, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger, Joe Satriani, George Thorogood, Lisa Loeb, Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, The Dead Daisies, Kathy Sledge and Black Stone Cherry’s Chris Robertson.

In a statement about the event, Feeding America say: “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more then 54 million Americans are struggling to put food on the table – that includes about 18 million children. Through Rock For Relief, we hope to make even a small impact and help our fellow Americans.

“Over 40 million people are served each year through the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks and we want to help. Every dollar donated to Feeding America helps secure and distribute 10 meals to people facing hunger. We have started this fundraiser to allow families who are struggling to sit down at the table and share a meal.”

Elsewhere in Peter Frampton news, the star has launched a new coronavirus-themed t-shirt on his merch store which plays on the title of his classic 1976 live double-album Frampton Comes Alive!

The new t-shirt displays a doctored version of the live album’s original artwork — now showing the guitarist wearing a blue face mask — and bears the words “Frampton Stays Inside!”. On the back of the t-shirt the words ‘Shelter In Place House Tour 2020’ are printed in the style of a normal tour t-shirt, with a monthly schedule of rooms to visit in the home — February: Living Room, March: Kitchen, April: Laundry Room, May: Backyard — also included.

Listen to the Best of Alice Cooper on Apple Music and Spotify.
