Ahead of their forthcoming album, The Silence in Between, Grammy-winning duo Bob Moses (aka producers Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance) have released a hypnotic new single, “Never Ending.” The synth-driven electronic track finds the band meditating on the passage of time. “We have all had moments we wanted to stay in forever,” said the Vancouver-based duo in a statement. “This song indulges the impulse and revels in that possibility.”

The release also comes complete with a mesmerizing and suspenseful music video, helmed by director Cam Veitch. Taking a cue from vintage noir, the dramatic visual features a mysterious couple, tarot cards, and smashed mirrors, leading viewers to wonder what will happen next.

“Never Ending” comes on the heels of  “Love Brand New,” which dropped last month. Comparing the single to the work of Nine Inch Nails, Billboard praised it as a “dark, brooding slow build that pulsates with moody lust, growls power riffs and shows off a heavier sound for the duo.” The song has since made it into the Top 15 of the Alternative radio chart.

“Our inspiration has always been our life. It helps to write about what you know to get the most genuine results. Often experiencing or having something personally affect you will get you the best results,” the duo told EDM in 2020. “We’ve had full conversations in our lyrics about things we would never personally talk about. Songwriting is quite a cathartic experience so deep and meaningful conversations will be a byproduct of lyric writing.”

Looking ahead, Bob Moses will be heading out on the road in support of The Silence in Between. Kicking off the tour on March 20 at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, AZ, the band will travel across North America until mid-May. Later on in the year, the duo will also head to Europe for shows in Amsterdam and London. Continue scrolling for the full list of tour dates below and visit the band’s official website for tickets.
