Dave Mustaine, Zakk Wylde Set For Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp 2018
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine along with Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde have been confirmed to appear at the Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp’s Masters Of Metal event in Los Angeles next year. The event will be held between 19 and 22 April 2018.
Attendees can expect spend the weekend jamming and rehearsing with Mustaine and Wylde and will also be tutored by bassists, guitarists, vocalist and drummers before hitting the stage with Wylde at the Sunset Strip’s Whisky A Go Go on the final night, which is described by the event’s website as “the ultimate metal dream.”
Mustaine says: “Attention! Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp has been seized by myself and Zakk Wylde and is now the Metal Fantasy Camp April 19-22, 2018.
“Prepare to shred songs with me like ‘Holy Wars’ and ‘Dystopia’ and metal anthems like ‘Symphony of Destruction’. You’ve been warned!”
Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp was originally borne out of the desire to give the public the experience of living the life of a rock star, with rock Stars, for a few days, and gaining their knowledge along the way. The idea came to organiser and promoter David Fishof after years of producing rock tours throughout the word. Fishof has been honoured to work with veteran rockers, Roger Daltrey, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Bill Wyman, Peter Frampton and many more and his desire to share this experience gave him the inspiration to create the one-of- a-kind Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp.
The scores of stars who have previously appeared at the event over the years include Nancy Wilson, Steven Adler, Gregg Bissonette, Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi, Roger Daltrey, Joe Perry, Def Leppard, Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar, Gene Simmons, Judas Priest, Bill Wyman, Slash, Bret Michaels, Cheap Trick, Ginger Baker, Dave Navarro and Vince Neil.
