Years & Years, the electropop solo project of British artist Olly Alexander, delivered a fresh remix of his hit single, “Sweet Talker,” courtesy of the award-winning Leeds-based producer and DJ, Hot Since 82. While the original mix of “Sweet Talker” offers plenty of high-energy moments, Hot Since 82’s reimagined version transforms the song into a euphoric club hit, complete with sporadic vocal samples.

Originally released in November 2021, the synth-heavy “Sweet Talker” found Alexander collaborating with Galantis, the best-selling collaborative project led by Christian Karlsson aka Bloodshy (Katy Perry, Little Mix, Britney Spears, Madonna). Ahead of partnering with Hot Since 82, Alexander previously enlisted dance producer Navos to create a heightened, hypnotic remix of “Sweet Talker,” which coincided with the release of Years & Years’ third studio album, Night Call.

The album, which was released in January 2022, marked Years & Years’ second No.1 record in the UK. “I’m just really, really proud,” Alexander told the Official Charts Company. “Everybody who got this album and streamed it – I can’t believe it, thank you so, so, so much! We got Number One baby!!”

Most recently, Years & Years joined the likes of Yard Act and James Bay to support the ninth-annual Independent Venue Week. Celebrating independent venues around the UK, the seven-day event spanned 210 independent venues, with a total of 485 performances from musicians, comedians, and more.

Looking ahead, fans in the UK and Ireland can catch Alexander on tour this spring. Shows kick off May 19 in Brighton, with stops in Dublin, London, and Glasgow, among other cities. For tickets and more information, visit Years & Years’ official website. It was also announced today that Years & Years will be among the headliners at the 2022 Wilderness Festival, held at Cornbury Park from August 4 through August 7.
