Over the past few weeks, John Fogerty and his children have been entertaining Creedence Clearwater Revival fans by performing favourites from the band’s catalogue. Now, fans can get even more from the legendary artist with a new SiriusXM special, called The Fogerty Rockin’ Family Hour, airing today at 4:00 pm EST on Classic Vinyl (channel 26).

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter created the “Fogerty’s Factory” YouTube series earlier this month, in which the CCR frontman and his family perform classic Creedence tunes from their home studio. Past episodes have featured renditions of ‘Down On The Corner’ and ‘Lodi’, while last week, the family even recreated CCR’s famous Cosmo’s Factory cover photo. John tweeted the image to his fans, writing, “During this pandemic, we re-created the iconic album cover of Cosmo’s Factory by collecting items around the house, including the Kustom Amp that was played at Woodstock – complete with Bob Fogerty shooting this cover!”

For today’s SiriusXM special, Fogerty will answer questions about his life and career, while he and his sons, Tyler and Shane, will perform Creedence Clearwater Revival classics. The brothers are each following in the musical footsteps of their dad – they both front the psychedelic rock group Hearty Har, while Shane is also part of his father’s regular band.

“In this current ‘stay-at-home’ climate we are all living, my family and I are happy to come together and engage SiriusXM listeners in a special hour of music, conversation, and family fun”, said Fogerty in an official statement. “Music has a way of uniting and comforting people during the darkest of times and we hope this special brings some light from our home to yours”.

In addition to airing on Classic Vinyl, The Fogerty Rockin’ Family Hour will also broadcast on SiriusXM’s Volume (channel 106), while exclusive content will be available on the SiriusXM app. Even those who aren’t current subscribers to SiriusXM can enjoy the show. The satellite radio giant is making its channels free to the public on the SiriusXM app and connected devices through 15 May.
