RUSH Announces Five-Date Sphere Residency in Las Vegas
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will play fan favorites, with Anika Nilles and Loren Gold joining the lineup.
RUSH will play five shows at Sphere in Las Vegas in May 2027. The residency, announced by co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, is set for May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30. Each performance will draw on the band’s catalog and honor the music and legacy of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
Lee said the group is developing visuals for the venue and expanding its live show. He also indicated that the setlists will include complete performances of 2112 and Moving Pictures, along with other songs. “Meaning playing all of 2112 and all of Moving Pictures along with an array of other songs,” Lee said. Sphere’s LED display surrounds the audience, while its Sphere Immersive Sound system delivers concert audio throughout the venue.
Lee and Lifeson will be joined by German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold. Nilles is also part of the lineup for the band’s Fifty Something tour, which has played dates across North and South America, Europe and the UK. The tour and the Sphere shows give audiences a chance to hear RUSH’s music performed by Lee and Lifeson with the new touring musicians, following Peart’s death in 2020.
Superfan, the residency’s official VIP and travel partner, will offer three VIP packages with premium concert seating and additional perks. Depending on the package, those may include a meet-and-greet with Lee and Lifeson, signed merchandise, access to the Xanadu VIP Lounge and dedicated merchandise pickup. Travel packages will bundle Fontainebleau Las Vegas lodging with concert tickets, VIP experiences, merchandise and shuttle transportation. Fontainebleau will also host a RUSH merchandise pop-up.
RUSH Backstage and newsletter subscribers can purchase VIP and travel packages during an exclusive window beginning November 6 at 10 a.m. PT. The artist presale for concert tickets begins November 11 at 10 a.m. PT. Fans can register through Seated for a presale code. The dates are May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30, 2027, at Sphere in Las Vegas.
