Nicki Minaj has teamed up with fellow New Yorker Tekashi 6ix9ine and guests on his new song ‘Fefe’. As promised by 6ix9ine on social media on Friday, the hard-hitting Murda Beatz and Cubeatz produced track has dropped on Sunday, 22 July and you can listen to it below.

On the same day ‘Fefe’ dropped, TMZ reported that 6ix9ine was in the hospital after being kidnapped, pistol whipped, and robbed. The incident took place while the rapper was driving home at around 4am after working on a new music video in Brooklyn.

The three robbers reportedly made off with $750,000 in jewellery and up to $20,000 in cash. 6ix9ine is currently in the hospital, where doctors are performing various tests, including a CT scan, according to reports in TMZ. 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, rose to fame in 2017 with the release of his song ‘Gummo.’

‘Fefe’ is the latest in a series of high profile collaborations for Nicki Minaj. In recent months, she has released tracks with Ariana Grande, YG and London singer Ella Mae. She also tapped Grande (on ‘Bed’) and Lil Wayne (on ‘Rich Sex’) for her forthcoming album Queen, which as uDiscover Music previously reported, is due out August 10.
