Fans of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before film series should mark their calendars. This Saturday, July 18, cast members and musical artists will get together remotely for a virtual concert event, celebrating the vinyl release of the To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You soundtrack, out July 17 via Capitol Records. Hosted by Lana Condor, who stars as Lara Jean Covey in the hit films, “To All The Music” will premiere at 5:00 pm PST on AwesomenessTV’s YouTube channel.
In addition to Condor, “To All The Music” will feature cast appearances by Anna Cathcart (Kitty), Janel Parrish (Margot), Madeleine Arthur (Chris), Trezzo Mahoro (Lucas), Emilija Baranac (Genevieve), and Sarayu Blue (Trina).
Additionally, a host of remote, musical performances will be made by the soundtrack’s artists, including Chaz Cardigan, Bad Child, Cyn, and Ashe. Several cast members will also join in the fun, and perform some of the original songs from the soundtrack, including Janel Paris, who will cover Marina’s “About Love.” Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre, meanwhile, will duet on Lauv’s “I Like Me Better,” which appeared in the first installment of the Netflix film series.
Awesomeness Films, the production company behind To All The Boys, will also team up with the Save The Music Foundation to help restore public school music programs across the country. During the free live-stream, viewers will learn about the non-profit’s mission and be invited to donate through YouTube if they wish. Awesomeness is also making a $55,000 donation to fund a J Dilla Music Technology Grant at a high school in the US.
In an official statement, Lana Condor said, “Playing Lara Jean has brought so much joy to my life and a huge part of what makes our To All The Boys universe so special is the music. I’m so excited to bring together the cast, musical artists and our amazing fans to celebrate the songs behind To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and share some fun surprises too, all for a great cause!”
