BLACKPINK rapper and singer Lisa has shared a new visual trailer ahead of the release of her debut solo album LALISA. The album arrives on September 10 via YG Entertainment and Interscope Records.

In the teaser trailer, Lisa is drenched in red hues and positioned at the center of a storm. Though no music was teased in the visual, the 26-second clip is soundtracked by the sound of roaring thunder with flashes of lightning striking behind the musician.

The 24-year-old BLACKPINK star is the group’s third member to announce a solo debut. She follows Jennie, who shared the single “Solo” which topped Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, and Rosé who teamed up with hitmakers Jon Bellion and Teddy Park for the singles “Gone” and “On the Ground” from her debut mini EP R.

Since the new LALISA trailer was released, it has amassed over 7.2 million views on YouTube and nearly 500,000 on Twitter.

YG Entertainment’s official merchandise shop YG Select has spent the days leading up to further announcements surrounding LALISA teasing exclusive item drops. During the pre-order period from August 26 to September 9, fans offered a chance to win autographed albums, a special gift shopping bag, photocards and more. More information on the merchandise and available giveaways can be found on the official YG Select LALISA event page.

Lisa’s solo debut comes on the heels of celebrations of BLACKPINK’s five-year anniversary. The group released BLACKPINK: The Movie in honor of the milestone and sold over 500,000 tickets to the film within the first five days of its release. The movie follows the group’s 2020 Netflix documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky and their debut album The Album.

The Album featured the hit singles “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream” featuring Selena Gomez. The project reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, marking the biggest chart debut by an all-female group in over a decade. It also landed in the top five of over a dozen other countries including New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, Canada and more.
