In addition to her anticipated appearance on the show, Rodrigo is nominated for several awards, including Song of the Year for her record-breaking hit, “drivers license.” Her fellow nominees include Lil Nas X for “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),” Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open,” Justin Bieber’s “Peaches,” Ariana Grande’s “positions,” and many more hitmakers such as Dua Lipa, Adele, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, and The Kid LAROI. In the weeks leading up to the awards show, fans had the opportunity to vote for several of the categories, including Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, Best Cover Song, and more.

Other notable nominations include Taylor Swift for Female Artist of the Year and the fan-voted category of Best Lyrics for “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).” Billie Eilish also received a nod in the latter category for her lyricism in the electric “Happier Than Ever,” while she is also up for Alternative Artist of the Year. BTS were recognized several times, for Best Duo/Group of the Year, Best Fan Army, and Best Music Video for their 2021 smash, “Butter.”

Currently in its ninth year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards takes place tomorrow evening at Los Angeles’ The Shrine Auditorium. The show airs live on FOX at 8:00 PM ET. Fans can also catch the show on iHeartMedia radio stations across the country and on the iHeartRadio app.
