Ahead of the show, the 2022 slate of nominees has been revealed with scores for some of the biggest names in country music including Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, and more.

For the fourth time, Stapleton is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, appearing alongside Eric Church, Luke Combs, Lambert, and Carrie Underwood. His other four nominations include a seventh career nomination in the Male Artist of the Year category and a Video of the Year nomination for his appearance on Taylor Swift’s “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” from Red (Taylor’s Version).

Throughout the nominations, the Academy of Country Music recognizes a number of the genre’s most prominent hits including Hayes’ “Fancy Like,” Lainey Wilson’s “Things a Man Oughta Know,” and Kelsea Ballerini’s “Half of My Hometown” featuring Kenny Chesney.
