Fast-rising Michigan rockers Greta Van Fleet and Rachel Brosnahan from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are all set to make their Saturday Night Live debuts on Saturday, 19 January.

Greta Van Fleet, widely-regarded for their classic rock sound, topped Billboard’s Artist 100 chart on 3 November after the release of their first full-length album, Anthem Of The Peaceful Army, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in July. The hotly-tipped band are nominated for three 2019 Grammy Awards, including best new artist, best rock performance for ‘Highway Tune,’ best rock song for ‘Black Smoke Rising’ and best rock album for From the Fires.

The band will also play a two-night stand in Seattle this week. From there, they travel to Japan and Australia before returning to Europe for dates beginning in Barcelona on 22 February. During their European jaunt, the band touch down in the UK for five sold-out shows and to Ireland for a concert at the Olympia Theatre on 13 March. Their latest North American tour is due to commence on 7 May at the Bayfront Park Ampitheater in Miami. For further details on all the dates, please visit the band’s official website.

Rachel Brosnahan will also make her Saturday Night Live debut as the show’s host. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress recently won a Golden Globe for best performances by an actress in a musical or comedy television series – an award she also took home last year, making her the first person to win back-to-back in the category since Tina Fey in 30 Rock a decade ago.

Brosnahan also recently joined Kelly Clarkson in an all-star ensemble which performed Clarkson’s 2004 hit ‘Since U Been Gone for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Mumford & Sons, Shaquille O’Neal, Meghan Trainor, John Oliver, Anthony Anderson, The Roots and Fallon all took turns belting the tune.

Saturday Night Live returns to NBC on Saturday, 19 January at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.
