Gwen Stefani has released a new video for her festive single ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas’ featuring Blake Shelton. The feel-good video was directed by Sophie Muller (No Doubt, Blur, Coldplay) and you can watch it above.
In the video, Stefani and Shelton the ultimate are dressed in a series of retro outfits and adorably dote on each other as they playfully—and at times comically—go through the holiday motions. Stefani previously teased the release of the video on her Instagram by sharing loved-up photos of the pair onset, captioned with lyrics from the Christmas song. Prior to ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas’, Shelton included Stefani on a song called ‘Go Ahead and Break My Heart’ from his If I’m Honest album.
‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas’ is the title song from Stefani’s Yuletide album of the same name. Initially released in October 2017, You Make It Feel Like Christmas debuted on Billboard’s Top Seasonal Albums chart last holiday season and featured six originals and six classic holiday tunes.
The album’s new edition, which is out now on Interscope Records, features five additional songs including originals ‘Cheer For The Elves’ and ‘Secret Santa’ written by Gwen Stefani, Justin Tranter and busbee, as well as covers of enduring Yuletide classics ‘White Christmas’ ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,’ ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Feliz Navidad’, which features Latin superstar Mon Laferte. The deluxe edition of You Make It Feel Like Christmas was produced by busbee (Timbaland, Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban) and Eric Valentine (Slash, Queens Of The Stone Age, All-American Rejects).
Last year, Stefani debuted her cover of ‘White Christmas’ at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and later performed ‘Last Christmas’ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As the holiday season neared its close, You Make It Feel Like Christmas peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200.
