The Rolling Stones have shared a preview of their upcoming multi-format live collection Licked Live In NYC, due on June 10, with a video on their official YouTube channel of “Don’t Stop.” It’s part of the band’s performance in January 2003 at Madison Square Garden in New York on the 40th anniversary Licks tour, which will be available in full for the first time via the release.

The spirited rendition of “Don’t Stop” features Mick Jagger on both lead vocals and rhythm guitar, with Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and the much-missed Charlie Watts all on fine form along with the Stones’ touring band. The clip features an unusual stage view from a camera on Wood’s guitar.

“Don’t Stop” was one of four new songs, recorded in Paris, that featured on the Forty Licks compilation that came out in September 2002 to mark the band’s 40th anniversary. Written primarily by Jagger and produced by Don Was, it was simultaneously released as a single and became a Top 40 UK entry, also reaching No.5 on Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart.

Licked Live In NYC contains the four previously unavailable tracks from the Madison Square Garden show that were not part of 2003’s Four Flicks DVD: “Start Me Up,” “Tumbling Dice,” “Gimme Shelter,” and “Sympathy For the Devil.” Also included are three further songs from an Amsterdam show (“Star Star,” “I Just Want To Make Love To You,” and “Street Fighting Man”) as well as rehearsal footage.

The 2013 live package is preceded by the May 13 release of Live At The El Mocambo, featuring the first release of the Stones’ “secret” shows in 1977 at the 300-capacity Toronto club, where they were billed as the Cockroaches. It’ll be available on double CD, 4 LP black vinyl, 4 LP neon vinyl, and digitally.
