The “Dynamite” video features all members dancing alone in various sets – a bedroom, a diner, a record store – before delivering choreography across an array of glossy, technicolor backdrops. They had teased the clip earlier this month.

The outfit, comprised of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, announced the single and forthcoming album during a broadcast on V Live on July 26, but did not share the track’s name until earlier this month.

“We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but decided to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible,” the band said in a statement.

“Due to COVID-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we wanted to share some positive energy with our fans.”

A few weeks later, they announced that their latest concert film, Break The Silence: The Movie, will debut in the US on September 24. The movie follows the K-pop giants on their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself World Tour’, which took place in 2019. The group’s first worldwide stadium tour saw them taking in the hallowed surroundings of London’s Wembley Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, and a stop-off at Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

While the film captures some of their greatest performances from the tour, the movie is also set to provide “unprecedented access” to the band. A synopsis teases that the film will examine “each band member behind the curtain…the seven members begin to candidly tell personal stories they have never voiced before.”

Earlier this year BTS broke the Guinness World Record for most-viewed concert livestream, with an online performance in June. ‘Bang Bang Con: The Live’ performance was viewed by 756,000 fans across more than 100 countries. Broadcasting from Seoul, the concert was held as part of their seventh-anniversary celebrations and comprised a 12-track setlist.
