Eels Announce 2019 US And European Tour Dates
Alt.rock icons the Eels will be hitting the road this year for an expansive US and European tour in support of their recent record, The Deconstruction.
Veteran alt.rock icons the Eels will be hitting the road this spring and summer for an expansive US and European tour in support of their recent record, The Deconstruction.
The LA outfit will perform in 18 cities in the US in April and May, then will continue onto Europe, with dates across the UK, Italy, Spain, Sweden and beyond.
“We did a shorter tour than usual this past summer, and they were the most fun, exciting shows ever,” said frontman Mark Oliver Everett in a statement. “We need to bring the love and positive energy to some of the places we didn’t get to last time. We know you’re hurting. Help is on the way.”
Since arriving on the scene in 1996 with their debut Beautiful Freak, the band has released 11 studio albums including their latest in 2018, The Deconstruction. It followed a four-year hiatus by the band, as “E” (as Everett is affectionally known as) concentrated on his own solo releases and an autobiography.
With their latest release garnering critical acclaim, fans can look forward to hearing the new material on the road.
