Kacey Musgraves, Paramore, and Lil Nas X have been tapped to headline Austin City Limits Festival 2022, leading a raft of names that will appear in Texas over two weekends.

They’ll be joined at the top of the bill by Red Hot Chili Peppers, P!nk, The Chicks, SZA, and Flume across both installments of this year’s event. ACL 2022 will take place between October 7-9 and 14-16 at Austin’s Zilker Park.

The festival will feature largely the same line-up across both weekends, although some artists will only appear on either weekend one or weekend two. Among the acts pulling double duty at ACL 2022 are Conan Gray, Benee, Nathaniel Rateliff And The Night Sweats, and Zhu.

Weekend one exclusives include James Blake, Carly Rae Jepsen, Manchester Orchestra, and Rag’n’Bone Man, while the likes of Yungblud, Jake Bugg, and Ibeyi will play only on the second weekend.

Tickets for ACL 2022 will go on sale today (May 10) at 2pm CT and will be available to purchase here.

The Austin festival is another addition to a busy touring schedule for Musgraves this year. The country-pop crossover megastar has already been confirmed to headline Palomino Festival, a new alt-country event held in LA, in July, as well as festivals around the world including Spain’s Primavera Sound, the UK’s Glastonbury, Denmark’s Roskilde, Australia’s Splendour In The Grass, Japan’s Summer Sonic, and many more.

Musgraves’ packed itinerary follows the release of her critically-acclaimed album star-crossed last year. The record took the form of a “modern-day tragedy in three acts” that told “an extremely personal journey of heartache and healing.”

The album was also accompanied by a 50-minute film, which brought its narratives to life. The film was directed by Bardia Zeinali and starred Musgraves, with cameos from Eugene Levy, Princess Nokia, and others. “We wanted it to feel cinematic and epic without compromising the heart and the emotion,” Zeinali said in a statement, “to feel fantastical and heightened and tell her story through the lens of art and fashion.”
