Hip-Hop icon Post Malone has released a new single, “Cooped Up” with Roddy Ricch, the first single from his upcoming album, Twelve Carat Toothache.

Post began teasing the track yesterday, a few weeks after he confirmed some of the featured artists on Twelve Carat Toothache, which also includes Doja Cat, Robin Pecknold, and The Kid LAROI.

“I would love to play this entire record and I just want to say hey to everybody that’s hanging out. Honestly, I’ve been working so f_____g hard and I would love to play y’all a couple more records if y’all got time. We’ve got a lot of cool stuff going on,” he said during his Instagram Live, according to HYPEBEAST.

Twelve Carat Toothache will mark Malone’s first full-length studio effort since 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and received a GRAMMY nomination for Album of the Year. Twelve Carat Toothache is set to be released on June 3.

Speaking to Billboard, Post Malone shared that the 14 songs on the album “speak more to how I’m feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream.”

“I’ve made a lot of compromises, especially musically, but now I don’t feel like I want to anymore,” he added. “I don’t need a No. 1; that doesn’t matter to me no more, and at a point, it did.”

In other Posty news, Saturday Night Live announced that he will be performing on the May 14 edition of the show alongside Selena Gomez, who will make her hosting debut in her first return to the show since she performed back in 2016 in support of her sophomore solo studio album Revival. Post Malone will, surprisingly, be making his first appearance on the show.
