According to the official announcement, “viewers are able to see BTS in action, all of them having fun together in joyful vibes.” And joyful it is – based on the video’s footage, the band had a complete blast filming “Dynamite.”

Fans were equally enthusiastic to watch the visual for the group’s first fully English-language single. Over three million viewers tuned in to YouTube to catch the live premiere of “Dynamite” – nearly doubling a record previously held by fellow K-pop stars BLACKPINK for their “How You Like That” video.

Following its premiere, “Dynamite” was streamed over 101.1 million times on its first day, breaking YouTube’s record for the most views in 24 hours. That record was also previously held by BLACKPINK, who garnered 86.3 million streams after the June premiere of “How You Like That.”

This Sunday, August 30, fans can catch BTS performing “Dynamite” live at the 37th annual MTV Video Music Awards. The group, who are performing at the awards show for the very first time, will join an all-star line-up of talent, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Doja Cat. The group is also up for three awards, including Best K-Pop, Best Pop, and Best Choreography for their “On” video.

Coming up, the band is looking forward to the premiere of their latest concert film, Break The Silence: The Movie. The film, which debuts in the US on September 24, follows the pop stars on their 2019 “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself World Tour.” BTS’ first worldwide stadium tour included stops at such iconic venues as London’s Wembley Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, and Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
