His ninth studio album has already topped the charts in the US, Canada and Australia for the CMA’s current Entertainer of the Year. As well as ‘Never Comin’ Down,’ the emphasis track for the new release, the UK edition of Graffiti U will include three bonus tracks. All of them were massive American hits from his previous album of 2016, Ripcord: ‘Blue Ain’t Your Colour,’ ‘The Fighter’ (featuring Carrie Underwood) and ‘Wasted Time.’ The European shows are Urban’s first in nearly a decade, and he will also play a club date in London at the Forum Kentish Town on 6 March.

Urban’s spectacular achievements since he burst onto the US country scene with his self-titled album of 1999 bear repeating: he has 24 No. 1 singles to his name and has career sales of some 20 million albums. In addition to four Grammy Awards, he has amassed 13 CMA Awards, 11 ACMs, four AMAs and a People’s Choice Award. He also holds the record for the most consecutive top ten songs on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, with no fewer than 38.

The Graffiti U tour has already embraced some 75 shows, to rave reviews from fans and media, in North America and Australia. The artist’s European dates are at Berlin’s Verti Music Hall on 3 March; AFAS Live in Amsterdam (4); London’s Forum, Kentish Town (6) and The O2 (8); SECC, Glasgow (9) and 3Arena, Dublin (10). He then plays in West Palm Beach, Florida on 3 May, the Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga on 31 May and two further shows in June, before a run of further dates from July through to September.

The UK edition of Graffiti U is released on 8 March. Pre-order it here.
