Baha Men’s ‘Who Let The Dog Out’ Gets New Remix
The track celebrates its 25th anniversary with a new remix from Wuki and DJ Susan.

“Who Let The Dogs Out,” perhaps one of the best-known pop songs of the 21st century, is about to be heard in a whole new way. The iconic track from the Baha Men celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and Wuki and DJ Susan are helping recognize the track with an all-new remix.
“This song was everything to me growing up,” DJ Susan says in a press statement. “I played it nonstop — in the car, on my CD player, and I was obsessed with the music video. To now be part of its legacy is surreal. It’s a full-circle moment for me and something my younger self would’ve never believed. Huge honor to reimagine this record with my friend Wuki.”
Originally released on July 26, 2000, Baha Men’s album Who Let The Dogs Out was a triple-platinum smash. The lead single of the same name reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, and quickly became a staple in popular culture, appearing in movies like Rugrats In Paris, Men In Black II, and The Shaggy Dog, and frequently appearing during sporting events in the early 2000s. The track went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 2001 ceremony.
Though the Baha Men may be best associated with the Y2K moment, their success has continued. The band has toured fairly consistently over the years, with even more dates scheduled during the rest of 2025. Of course, every audience wants to hear their biggest hit everywhere they go. “I’m very tired of playing that song in rehearsal. I mean, we’ve been playing it for almost as long as I’ve been alive,” group founder Isiah Thomas said of “Who Let The Dogs Out” in a 2015 interview with Vice. “But on stage, it’s different. The fans really give life to that song.” With Wuki and DJ Susan’s new remix, the song gets even more new life.
