The Who are celebrating their 60th anniversary with a recurring poster and t-shirt series. Every other month, the English band will share a new series of graphics for fans to collect.

The first drop honors one of the band’s earliest singles, “I Can’t Explain.” The red, blue, white, and black graphic is designed by Robin Gnista and portrays the group in the mid-1960s. The Who famously played “I Can’t Explain” during their television debut on the UK’s celebrated TV music show of the 1960s, Ready Steady Go!.

Upcoming designs will include tributes to the band’s explosive 1967 performance on “The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour”; 1969’s acclaimed double-album Tommy; a 1970 performance at Leeds University which became the beloved album Live At Leeds; the 1973 rock opera record Quadrophenia; and their mid-1970s US tour.

Last year, the 1976 compilation The Story of the Who was reissued on vinyl. Originally released in the UK by Polydor on September 24, 1976, the two-disc vinyl compilation reached No. 2 in the UK album charts. It features songs from across the band’s pre-1976 discography as well as singles that previously appeared on the 1971 compilation Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy and a cover of Eddie Cochran “Summertime Blues.”

Later this year comes the world premiere of Quadrophenia, A Mod Ballet, based on their 1973 album of the same name, written by Pete Townshend. The production will tour Plymouth Theatre Royal, Edinburgh Festival Theatre and the Mayflower in Southampton before having its official opening at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London, which will begin on June 24 and last until July 13. It will also visit The Lowry in Salford in 2025.

In April and May, The Who’s Roger Daltrey will embark on a special solo tour where he will perform acoustic and semi-acoustic Who classics, solo hits, and more.
