Live Nation’s drive-in concert series, Live From The Drive-In returns this fall with four shows in Alpharetta, GA. The Covid-safe concerts will feature a line-up of Southern-based artists, including the Indigo Girls, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Blackberry Smoke, and Atlanta’s Yacht Rock Revue. The series kicks off on Friday, October 16th at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre’s Lot A.

Tickets for all four shows go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, September 11 at 10:00 am local time via Live Nation. Fans will only need to purchase one ticket per car, with a maximum of four people permitted in each vehicle. Citi cardmembers, meanwhile, can access a presale beginning today, through Thursday, September 10.

The innovative series launched in July with a three-city event in Nashville, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Thanks to dedicated buffer space between each parked car, fans were able to safely enjoy a tailgate experience while catching full, live sets from the likes of Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Nelly, and Jon Pardi.

“We are thrilled to have live music returning safely to the Atlanta area for a great weekend of Live From The Drive-In,” said Peter Conlon, President of Live Nation Atlanta. “We’ve seen such a great demand from fans to get back to concerts in a safe manner and from artists to get back on the stage to perform again. It’s also really great to be bringing live event jobs back to some local crew and workers who have been out of work since March. We can’t wait to see everyone come out!”

The Indigo Girls, meanwhile, have been busy throughout lockdown promoting their latest album, Look Long. Most recently, the acclaimed duo released their first music video off the record, for “Change My Heart” – a song which American Songwriter praised as “An absolute rocker,” and “proof that [Emily] Saliers and [Amy] Ray remain as inspired (and inspiring) as they were when they first debuted in Atlanta 35 years ago.”
