Additionally, rising singer MNEK will appear on the Christmas Day installment to perform “Head & Heart” with Joel Corry. Earlier this year, the track spent six weeks at the top of the U.K. Official Singles Chart. Mabel and Clean Bandit will perform their top 10 track “Tick Tock” with AJ Tracey and Aitch appearing to perform “Rain.”

Also on Christmas Day, Craig David and KSI will team up with Digital Farm Animals to perform their latest collaboration “Really Love.” Ella Henderson, rising soul singer Celeste, and crooner Jamie Cullum are among the first iteration of the Top of the Pops line-up.

Shortly after, on New Year’s Eve, Top of the Pops will feature yet another star-studded line-up with Yungblud, Becky Hill, Arlo Parks, and Alfie Templeman.

Nathan Dawe will come together with KSI and Ella Henderson while Sigala and James Arthur team up for a performance of their own. Wes Nelson will also perform a collaboration with Hardy Caprio.

A few weeks out from his performance, Yungblud is currently preparing for the release of his sophomore studio album Weird! out on December 4 via Interscope Records.

Something of a critical darling, Yungblud was awarded Best Push artist at the 2020 MTV EMAs, shortlisted for the BBC Sound of 2020 poll, and named the MTV Push: Ones to Watch winner at the start of the year. Although the Doncaster musician’s impact has extended through sold-out crowds in over 20 countries on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Vans Warped Tour, and Reading and Leeds Festival.

Yungblud recently dropped the enchanting music video for Weird! track “mars,” which explores the story of a young trans woman he met while on the Warped Tour circuit in 2018.

Continuing the honest, self-confident narrative built around the album, the singer (born Dominic Harrison) teamed up with frequent collaborators Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker on “Acting Like That.” The trio previously joined forces on last year’s “I Think I’m OKAY” from Machine Gun Kelly’s Hotel Diablo.

“This song radiates just going f_king nuts at your favorite show, a feeling that we all need right now,” Harrison said of the track. “This song is about losing control and feeling free with your best f_king mates.”

Weird! is out on December 4 and can be bought here.
