Jessie J Announces Holiday Album Featuring Boyz II Men And Babyface
Produced by legendary songwriter, composer and producer David Foster, the album includes Christmas classics like ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’, ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Silent Night’.
UK pop sensation Jessie J has announced her first holiday album titled This Christmas Day, that features collaborations with Boyz II Men and Babyface due 26 October.
Produced by legendary songwriter, composer and producer David Foster (who’s worked with the likes of George Harrison, Earth, Wind and Fire and Chicago, among others), the album includes Christmas classics like ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’, ‘Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Silent Night’.
Jessie J shared her excitement when it came to recording the album: “I had so much fun recording this holiday album!” she shared in a statement.
“I did it in fourteen days around my summer tour, flying back and forth to LA from Europe. The chance to work with David Foster, Babyface, Rodney Jerkins, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Boyz II Men was a dream come true. The talent they all have blows my mind.”
James “Jimmy Jam” Harris III and Terry Lewis are considered one of the most formidable songwriting and production duos in music history, and are responsible some of biggest hits by Janet Jackson, New Edition, Michael Jackson and countless others.
The singer is also embarking on a North American tour this fall to promote her recent four-part release titled R.O.S.E.
The R.O.S.E. Tour will kick off in San Francisco on 1 October, and she’ll make her way across North America with stops in Vancouver, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Houston, Phoenix and wrapping on 1 November in Los Angeles.
