The All-American Rejects are bringing one of their most beloved albums back to vinyl with a colorful twist. Move Along, the band’s 2005 blockbuster from 2005, is getting a new pressing on translucent grape-colored vinyl and CD.

After breaking through with their 2002 self-titled debut and its smash lead single “Swing, Swing,” the Rejects completed their ascent to superstardom with Move Along in 2005. The album went 3x Platinum and yielded three massive hits on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, all of which peaked within the top 15: “Move Along,” “It Ends Tonight,” and “Dirty Little Secret,” which as a single has been certified 6× Platinum. The band spent three years on the road supporting the album with packed-out arena shows around the world.

Upon its release, critics hailed Move Along as a pop-rock triumph. AbsolutePunk noted, “Tyson Ritter sounds better than ever, both in terms of melody as well in clarity of delivery,” while antiMusic enthused, “These guys have got the art of the hook down so well that you have no choice but to submit to their wills.”

The All-American Rejects returned this year with “Sandbox” and “Easy Come, Easy Go,” two tracks from their new album Sandbox, set for release in 2026. “Sandbox” was praised by Variety as a lyrical shift for the band, with Tyson Ritter striking a political note for the first time. “This song is a tongue bursting through cheek, just the same way all our songs always had a bit of a wink and a goose,” Ritter said. “But there is a message in it if you listen to it. I’m proud that we can stand up there on stage and play this and not feel like we’re trying to sing to 14-year-old girls.” Despite the mature subject matter, the band made an extremely fun and playful visual accompaniment for “Sandbox.” In director Joseph Kahn’s music video, the Rejects must fend off a violent puppet uprising.
