The inspirational ‘Polvere e Gloria’ (‘Dust and Glory’) features the Italian tenor and tennis player collaborating beyond their usual realms.

Italian icons Andrea Bocelli and tennis star Jannik Sinner have released a song together. “Polvere e Gloria” (“Dust and Glory”) is a dialogue between two champions meeting outside their usual realms. The song is out now via Decca Records/Universal Music
“Polvere e Gloria” blends Italian and English as Bocelli delivers solemn verses while Sinner contributes inspirational words taken from both his winning and losing speeches of key games. Sinner, the first Italian to reach the world’s No.1 position in men’s singles, recorded his verses in a studio with Bocelli in Tuscany. The athlete’s words are notes for life: “All you have to do is to be yourself,” “Improve every day,” “Talent doesn’t exist, it has to be earned.” It is the “fine line that transforms dust into glory.”
Sinner says, “I am very happy, and honoured, to be part of this project with Andrea, who for 30 years has been a unique and extraordinary voice, a flag for our country in the rest of the world. I could never have imagined hearing my voice in one of his songs. It’s extremely moving.”
The song was written by Stephan Moccio, Giovanni Caccamo, Alfredo Rapetti Cheope and Maestro Bocelli himself, and produced by Pierpaolo Guerrini. A music video is composed of archival images from the childhood and adolescence of both men as well as contemporary scenes filmed at Bocelli’s Tuscan estate.
Earlier this year, Bocelli’s 2006 romantic album Amore received a limited edition 2xLP reissue. In 2024, the beloved tenor dueted with his son Matteo at the Oscars. Bocelli celebrated his 30th anniversary as a global icon with a new album titled Duets, which featured collaborations with Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, Gwen Stefani, Karol G, and more. And, as if that wasn’t enough, the concert film Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration documented a three-day musical event held at Teatro del Silenzio (Theater of Silence) in Lajatico, a natural amphitheater in Tuscany. The concert was attended by more than 30,000 guests from around the world.
