Gracie Abrams’ ‘That’s So True’ Joins Spotify’s Billions Club
This is the singer’s first song to reach the milestone.

Gracie Abrams’ hit single “That’s So True” is the latest to join Spotify’s Billions Club, which celebrates songs that have eclipsed more than one billion views on the streaming platform. This marks the pop singer’s first track to reach this milestone.
“That’s So True” is a single from the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, The Secret of Us, released in 2024. Co-written by Abrams and frequent collaborator Audrey Hobert, “That’s So True” peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, her highest chart entry to date. It also topped various global charts, including in the U.K., Australia, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Lebanon, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Norway. The Secret of Us debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, becoming Abrams’ first Top 10 album.
“It’s funny to see what one song can do for engagement. In your head, you’re like, ‘Of course.’ But it’s crazy when you get to see that week-by-week in a stadium,” Abrams previously told Nylon about the song’s virality. “It was really wild. It felt different, for sure. There is something really psychotic about being able to hear voices in the stadium singing sh*t back at you. It’s like, ‘What the f*ck?’”
The Songwriters Hall of Fame recently announced that Abrams will be the 2025 recipient of the Hal David Starlight Award, which honors young songwriters. The ceremony will take place at the 54th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner, set for June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Abrams will also soon embark on her “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour,” which kicks off July 24 at TD Garden in Boston. Special guest Role Model will join Abrams once again on all tour dates.
