Bieber has two hits in the top 15 on the current Billboard Hot 100 – “Holy,” featuring Chance the Rapper, and “Lonely,” his collaboration with Benny Blanco.

Demi Lovato will host this year’s E! People’s Choice Awards, which is scheduled to air live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Bieber is nominated in seven categories this year: album of the year, male artist of the year, favorite song of the year, music video of the year, collaboration song of the year, favorite song of the year, and social media celebrity of the year.

This brings Bieber to a total of 18 People’s Choice Award nominations since 2011. Bieber won the 2016 award for favorite song of the year for “What Do You Mean?”

Elsewhere, Jennifer Lopez is slated to receive the people’s icon award. Tyler Perry will be honored with the people’s champion of 2020 award. Tracee Ellis Ross will receive the fashion icon award.

The 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards are produced by Den of Thieves with executive producers Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager and Barb Bialkowski. The complete list 2020 nominees can be viewed at the People’s Choice official website.

Last week, Bieber’s latest documentary ‘Next Chapter’ arrived exclusively on YouTube. The 30-minute special follows the pop megastar’s life after the release of Changes, his fifth studio album, which was documented in his 2019 docuseries Justin Bieber: Seasons. Both specials were directed by Michael D. Ratner.

“Connecting with fans and bringing them into my life is really important to me,” Bieber says. “I’m excited to catch up with them and to share the progress I’m making, the new music I’m working on, and what I’m excited about for the future.”
