Nine-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Norah Jones appeared on NBC’s The Today Show on 8 May, where she performed ‘Begin Again,’ the title track of her acclaimed new collection of singles. You can watch her live version of the song here.
Released by the legendary Blue Note imprint, Begin Again gathers seven eclectic songs that Jones has recorded over the past year with collaborators including Jeff Tweedy, Thomas Bartlett, and Brian Blade, and is available now on 12” vinyl, CD, and as a digital album to download or stream.
Jones has garnered widespread critical acclaim for Begin Again. Rolling Stone said “[Begin Again] finds Jones crafting a smoky, jazz-tinged vibe… Jones rarely pushes her vocals above a soft croon, but her lyrics are vivid and sharp with a political edge”, while Consequence Of Sound called the record “A gem showcasing her porous musical boundaries and cross-genre virtuosity.”
