‘Wicked: For Good’ Soundtrack Reveals Release Date And Tracklist
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will sing two brand new songs on the soundtrack.

With the Wicked: For Good premiere drawing closer, the anticipation builds with the announcement of the sequel soundtrack’s release date and tracklist.
The movie-musical album will officially be released on November 21, the same day the film arrives in theaters. It will feature songs from Act Two of the stage musical—including fan favorites like “Thank Goodness/I Couldn’t Be Happier,” “As Long as You’re Mine,” and “For Good”—and the second part of the feature film adaptation by director Jon M. Chu.
Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz has written two new songs for the film: “No Place Like Home,” performed by Cynthia Erivo, and “The Girl in the Bubble,” performed by Ariana Grande. The soundtrack will also include “The Wicked Witch of the East,” which has been part of the original Broadway musical but was not included on the Broadway cast recordings.
“I’m especially happy that the soundtrack album for Wicked: For Good has so much new music on it,” Schwartz shared. “In addition to two brand new songs, there is a lot that’s new in several other existing songs. So not only listeners coming to the score for the first time, but long-time fans of the original Broadway cast album, will have a great deal to discover.”
The film serves as the conclusion to the Wicked storyline, with the first half premiering in November 2024. Wicked: Part I received ten nominations at the Academy Awards, winning Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. The accompanying soundtrack debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, making it the highest debut for a big-screen adaptation of a stage musical.
Based on the 1996 novel and 2003 musical, Wicked follows the stories of two witches from L. Frank Baum’s novel, and the classic 1939 movie adaptation, The Wizard of Oz. Ariana Grande stars as Glinda (the Good Witch) and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba (the Wicked Witch Of The West). Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey, Academy Award-winner Michelle Yeoh, Game of Thrones alum Peter Dinklage, and Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard complete the cast.
