Belly Releases ‘See You Next Wednesday,’ Drops Video With The Weeknd And Nas

Grammy nominated rapper, songwriter, and producer Belly has released his new album See You Next Wednesday via XO Records / Roc Nation. The album features The Weeknd, Nas, Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo, PnB Rock, Gunna, Nav, Big Sean, Lil Uzi Vert, and Benny the Butcher – allowing raps biggest names and standout newcomers a chance to collaborate.

The album title pays homage to acclaimed movie director John Landis, who often incorporates the ‘see you next Wednesday’ phrase in his fictional works. In celebration, Belly had a star studded album release event at Tao LA alongside The Weeknd, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Gunna, London on da Track and more. He also performed “Flowers” last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

With the album release comes a visual for “Die for It” with The Weeknd and Nas – which premiered on BET broadcast television. Before the album release, Belly dropped “Zero Love”, which he self-produced, “Money On The Table,” which has over 2.3M streams, and “IYKYK,” – all of which received praise from Pitchfork, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Complex and more.

His recent drop “Better Believe” went No.1 most added at Urban radio and garnered 35M+ global audio streams and 15M+ video views. In 2020, Belly made history when he co-wrote The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” which just broke the all-time record for longest charting song in Billboard Hot 100 history at 88 weeks. His total streams as an artist have reached 1 billion and combined as a songwriter/composer hit 6 billion.
