NCT 127 Premiere Dazzling Video For ‘Punch’
The song is one of four new tracks off ‘The 2nd Album Repackage ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone: The Final Round’’, available across digital and streaming platforms today.
This morning, K-pop powerhouse NCT 127 premiered a visually-stunning video for their new single ‘Punch’. The song is one of four previously-unreleased tracks on the band’s new deluxe edition of their No.1 album, The 2nd Album ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone’. The 2nd Album Repackage ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone: The Final Round’ is available across digital and streaming platforms today, while two physical versions, available 12 June, will each feature unique artwork, packaging, band photos and more.
The multinational collective debuted ‘Punch’ this weekend during a live-stream concert. The immersive NCT 127 – Beyond the Origin streamed on Beyond LIVE, the groundbreaking new concert streaming series via SM Entertainment and Naver V LIVE. The show, which was the first Beyond LIVE production to feature a “multi-cam” function, with ten different camera angles, reached over 104,000 paid viewers in 129 countries, while #NCT127_BeyondLIVE was Twitter’s No.1 trending hashtag, worldwide.
Billboard praised that “The remarkably high production value of the show, as well as the multi-angle live stream, created a different kind of live performance that allowed the group’s showmanship to shine through and let fans feel connected to the band even if it may be a while before they can see them in person again”. The reviewer went on to call ‘Punch’ an “anthemic, confident track”.
The 2nd Album Repackage ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone: The Final Round’ was announced earlier this month, as was the tracklist, which includes four new songs: ‘Punch’, ‘Non Stop’, ‘Prelude’ and the ballad ‘Make Your Day’, which the group also premiered live this weekend.
NCT’s original edition of their sophomore album, The 2nd Album ‘NCT #127 Neo Zone’ was released on 6 March, and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. The album quickly made its way to the No.1 spot, thanks in part to its high-energy first single, ‘Kick It’, which, to date, has garnered over 47 million views on YouTube.
