Connie Francis’ ‘Christmas In My Heart’ Getting Vinyl Reissue This Season
The late singer’s holiday album is getting a repress.

The late, great Connie Francis experienced a major resurgence in the months leading up to her passing this summer. Now, the celebration of Francis’ legacy continues with a new vinyl reissue of her holiday album Christmas In My Heart.
First released in 1959, Christmas In My Heart found Francis teaming with producer Arnold Maxin to capture two distinct sides of the holidays on the two sides of the record. Side A features six popular Christmas songs, “White Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” among them. Side B ushers in more reverent material including “Adeste Fidelis (O Come All Ye Faithful)” and “Ave Maria.”
By the time the album was reissued as Connie’s Christmas in 1966, Francis had delivered a future holiday hit in the form of 1962 single “I’m Gonna Be Warm This Winter.” Though the tune was a small-scale success in its time, it gained a modern cult following when covered by Gabriella Climi in 2009 and Kylie Minogue in 2015.
Francis, a powerhouse hitmaker in the 1950s and ‘60s, passed away in July at age 87. After breaking through in 1958 with her cover of “Who’s Sorry Now,” she became a fixture on the pop charts, routinely sending singles to the top 10. She became the first woman to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool” in 1960. She later topped the chart again with “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own” and “Don’t Break the Heart That Loves You.”
Recently, a far more obscure Francis song has come into the spotlight. The 1962 deep cut “Pretty Little Baby” became a TikTok sensation, racking up millions of views and inspiring Francis to join the video platform to express her gratitude. The song is available now for pre-order on a vintage-style baby pink 7″ single backed with “Who’s Sorry Now,” with release set for Aug. 29.
