Here’s the new video that’s just been launched for ‘Can’t Feel My Face,’ the current hit by hot Island act The Weeknd. It’s directed by Grant Singer, who also oversaw the video for the previous hit ‘The Hills,’ a clip which is now nearing 90 million views.
‘Can’t Feel My Face’ is already a huge global success and will be included on the act’s upcoming, third album ‘Beauty Behind The Madness.’ The Weeknd, the recording name of Canadian Abel Tesfaye, recently scored a first in Billboard chart history when he claimed all of the top three slots on Hot R&B Songs countdown, with ‘Can’t Feel My Face.’ ‘The Hills’ and ‘Earned It.’
He’s also only the third artist in 2015 to have two songs in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, and the first male, after Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor achieved the feat. All of this follows The Weeknd’s success early in the year with ‘Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey).’ the first release from the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ motion picture soundtrack.
That single was recently certified triple platinum by the RIAA and has spent 30 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s also double platinum in Sweden and Holland, platinum in Norway, Denmark and Canada and gold in the UK, Australia, Mexico, Switzerland, and New Zealand.
